Q. What energy saving can be achieved using ECG in place of magnetic ballasts?

A. A 58watt T8 tube fitting using old style ballast typically uses 71watt of power. Conversely the same Triphosphor fitting using ECG uses 55watts. The same applies pro-rata for different wattages.
