2-gang, double-pole, 13A passive / latching RCD switched socket. RCDs are designed to prevent the user from receiving a fatal electric shock if they touch something live. When the power is lost due to an earth fault, the RCD trips out and isolates the circuit it is protecting. Latching RCDs do not trip during power cuts so they are suitable for fridges, freezers, fish tanks, battery charging and protecting remote / unmanned areas
